Edenspiekermann, the global design consultancy working with clients such as Red Bull, Faraday Future, The Economist and Google, is rapidly expanding across North America.

We’re now looking for a PR and Marketing Manager, who will be essential to driving our business development efforts and supporting our growth.

About this role

We are looking for an energetic, rigorous, independent, and creative communications professional to join our growing team and take the lead on our external, nationwide communications efforts, including but not limited to media relations, activities at industry conferences, as well as identifying and developing communications initiatives and topics with senior leadership as well as external resources. With engagements in the automotive industry being one of our biggest growth drivers, we welcome a background, previous experience, or existing networks in Automotive, though not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Drives the development and execution of communications strategies in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Drives the development of concepts and formats for media outlets including press releases, images, pitch letters, case studies, white papers and feature articles that will be produced by our writing staff
  • Cultivates and grows the relationships with local, regional, and national communication outlets
  • Responds to requests for information from media and related channel outlets
  • Arranges press conferences, interviews, speaking engagements, appearances opportunities, etc. to showcase the firm's expertise and its leaders, also coordinating schedules and logistics, as needed
  • Stewards and manages vendor agreements for related communications/PR services
  • Represents the firm as it participates in industry awards, service directories, grants and other opportunities to stand out among our peers
  • Manages the regular company newsletter program using MailChimp and oversees the developments and execution of the social media calendar
  • Coordinate with our other regional marketing teams throughout the year

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in public relations, marketing or social media marketing either in an agency or in-house role
  • Experience working independently and managing contributions to multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience in building relationships with thought leaders, journalists, industry professionals at all levels, and other voices critical to building an effective communication network
  • Clear, engaging and concise writing in the service of creating different forms on content
  • Ability to interact at all levels and maintain strong working relationships cross-functionally and externally
  • Ability to and affinity for mastering new communication technologies, platforms and strategies
  • Experience with a newsletter software such as MailChimp

Remote work

  • One day a week presence required at our downtown Los Angeles office and within commuting distance the remainder of the workweek
  • Option to work fully remote and outside of commuting distance for up to six weeks per year
