Spiekermann’s lecture is titled: ‘The Netherlands and Germany. Two typographic traditions’. Using the rich typographic sources of the department Special Collections, Spiekermann will discuss the differences between the Dutch and German typographic traditions. Do these differences still exist?

The Frederik Muller Lectures are organised by the department Special Collections (Bijzondere Collecties) of the UvA and present historic book collections in an international perspective.

The lecture is open to everyone. There is no admission fee.
