Having designed a new brand identity for the German supermarket chain tegut…, it was time to apply it online as well. We redesigned tegut.com to fit with the unique, colorful new look we established in stores, and maintain the regional, community focus the company is known for.
How do we make the customers a part of the company? This was the question at the core of our process. We brought the tegut… community spirit to the website, involving customers and creating transparency. The available resources, like the tegut… recipe collection, have been integrated meaningfully and can be used interactively.
The result is a new and more personal tegut.com. Customers can comment on pages, review offers and bonuses, join special interest groups, and interact with each other or the brand itself. With an editorial team overseeing the online dialog, the website has become a flexible online social medium that supports and reinforces customers’ offline brand experience.
