Appsfactory and Edenspiekermann join forces with immediate effect

The globally renowned design consultancy Edenspiekermann becomes part of the Appsfactory Group, positioning the combined entity as a new, owner-managed heavyweight for digital growth strategies and product development in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the USA.

Christian Hanke, CEO, and Michael Wiesemann, Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Edenspiekermann, have welcomed Appsfactory as the majority shareholder, marking a key step in the company's journey. This partnership is set to amplify Edenspiekermann's capabilities, expanding its reach and enhancing its client offerings. Despite the new ownership structure, Edenspiekermann will maintain its operational independence, offering clients holistic, innovation-driven solutions that are unparalleled on the market. The company will remain independent as a consultancy and brand.

“This is a forward-looking step for Appsfactory and Edenspiekermann. Edenspiekermann brings world-class design and strategy expertise and a strong footprint in the US to the table. Appsfactory has made a name for itself with high-end engineering. Together, we offer our clients holistic, innovation-driven solutions that are unparalleled on the market,” says Dr. Alexander Trommen, founder and CEO of Appsfactory.

The Appsfactory and Edenspiekermann teams have known each other for a long time. Both consultancies share an extensive client portfolio in the healthcare/digital health, mobility and media sectors. In recent years, they have repeatedly met in joint projects for clients such as Mercedes-Benz, CARIAD SE and Süddeutsche Zeitung.

“We are delighted to have found such a strong partner who shares our passion for ‘Designed in Berlin and California’,” emphasizes Christian Hanke, CEO of Edenspiekermann. “We have already proven in the past how well our expertise and working methods complement each other for the benefit of our clients. We will continue to operate as two strong brands in Europe and the USA, but will strategically deploy our teams and strengths in projects and with a view to new business.”

“As a design consultancy, we develop innovative, digital product strategies and bring them to life through unique design. Thanks to the size and depth of experience of Appsfactory, we can now offer everything from product strategy and first-class design to high-end engineering from a single source and with greater clout,” adds Michael Wiesemann, Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Edenspiekermann.
