Are You Getting the Bigger Picture?

UX Strategy is all about seeing the bigger picture and connecting the dots and clearly pinpointing business goals. Without creating digital castles in the sky or false air filled ambitions of never to be met results.
UX strategy is about making real impact on the lives of your customers.
But UX Strategy can be daunting. Why do you need a UX Strategy? And how to make it work? To answer those questions we hosted a UX Strategy session during Emerce eDay together with Jaime Levy, UX Strategist and author from Los Angeles.

And Jaime responding with sharp answers
At eDay we wanted to test our idea about UX by making it expressive and interactive. A challenge for the audience to connect the dots themselves.
A card with a pin and a huge balloon tank was all it took.
Do they see the bigger picture when it comes to UX Strategy?
A card, a pin and what’s next?
Our balloon tank rolled over eDay. Just to test the thinking power of our audience. Would they put two and two together? And make the connection with some of their own air filled ambitions?
Why need a stand if you can have a tank made out of balloons?
The results were surprising. Especially women were triggered and asked if they could actually pop some. A simple nod was enough to start the popping frenzy and it proved our theory of physical UX. Thank you all for participating in this experiment.
They’ve seen the bigger picture.

To conclude a successful eDay our UX Strategy Masterclass with Jaimy Levy next day topped it off.
