Are you mobile-friendly?

What does it take to provide a mobile-friendly website? To put it another way: are you aware of your sites’ mobile friendliness? The easiest way to get an answer on this question: run the mobile-friendly test by Google.
Step 1: Go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/ and enter the URL.

Step 2: If it appears in green, you’re on the right track.
Step 3: If you’re missing out on something, you should take the displayed advices – you also find them at the “Webmaster’s Mobile Guide” – e.g.:
• Avoid software that is not common on mobile devices, like Flash
• Use text that is readable without zooming
• Size content to the screen so users don’t have to scroll horizontally or zoom
• Place links far enough apart so that the correct one can be easily tapped
Google also decided to add a light grey label (“Für Mobilgeräte”) to the meta description of mobile search results to give users a better mobile web experience.
