Edenspiekermann opens a new office in Stuttgart and restructures the Amsterdam office.

AMSTERDAM BERLIN, 22 March 2010 – Edenspiekermann, agency for strategy, design and communication with offices in Amsterdam and Berlin will open an office in Stuttgart by 1 April. “We’re pleased to be able to add another location in Germany only one year after the merger of SpiekermannPartners and Eden Design & Communication,” explains Oliver Schmidthals, managing partner of Edenspiekermann Berlin. “We want to be closer to our important client, Bosch Group, who we’ve been working with since 2003.” The Stuttgart office will be run by Kristin Laufer, presently account manager in Berlin. Kristin had previously joined Edenspiekermann from Bosch where she had spent eight years with Corporate Communications.

The office in Amsterdam is getting ready to slim down their operations in a restart. “The economic crisis hit our Dutch business particularly hard, forcing us to restructure the office,” Edo van Dijk, managing partner of Edenspiekermann Amsterdam, says: “we’re convinced that we’ll be better equipped for present-day market requirements in a streamlined outfit with more flexible structures.”.

A third change concerns the Supervisory Board; René Repko has joined Göran Lagerström and Dirk Große-Leege on the Board of Edenspiekermann. René Repko is chief marketing officer of HEMA, the Dutch chain with stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, France and Germany.
